The photos are a mix of photos from Shorpy, and Propnomicon. The Prohibition Agent ID Card is from HPLHS, Gems and Coins from the Pirate Store in town, and airsoft guns, because I wouldn't want to be an unarmed prohibition agent in Innsmouth investigating possible liquor smuggling through their docks . . . . thats the only possible explanation for the oddities in town . . .. . isn't it?
That ever so fashionable "Innsmouth Look"

Just a quick update - unfortunately not much to report
I've been working on a set of whiskey labels, and I'm just not happy with any of them so far. It just seems to elude me.
Its the back of the bottle label that has me most dissatisfied, and I'm not quite satisfied with my reproduction tax stamp either. *sighs*

How does one deal with being exposed to truths humanity was never meant to understand? Whiskey. Whiskeys the way...
I was looking through the HPLHS Prop CD (Volume 1), and came across their excellent "Prohibition-Era Prescription Form". To deal with the insanity caused by dealing with mythos creatures . . . . Prescription Whiskey? My inane ramblings, can be written off by society as the mutterings of a drunk?
So, I've spent the past couple days researching whiskey labels from the era. In a couple days, I believe I'll have something I'm ready to share with the world.

First Post . . . .
First post . . . . well, first things first, welcome to my blog.
And now, to business....
A couple prop uploads - first, a set of Matchbooks advertising the Arkham Sanitarium, from HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. And because in the 1920s and 30s, smoking was a much more fashionable thing to do, a pack of Lucky Strike Cigarettes to light with your matchbook.
The Cigarette pack can be made a variety of ways. I was lucky enough to get expert help from an artist friend who helped me remake the pack. Her original file is located here, with an alternate here and a tax stamp for the alternate located here. A .pdf version of the alternate and tax stamp is also available by clicking this link. The pdf version has instructions for how to make it. The originals print better so I'd recommend using them rather than the .pdf version.
The matchbook contains the seal created by Oakree at Propnomicon for the utterly astounding Arkham Sanitarium project, the matchbook is available by clicking here.
Enjoy!
